Outhouse Timber Framing

Picture
We build a variety of pergolas, both for shelter and to provide a framework for climbing plants.
The four sided oak frame above is roofed in cedar shingles.

This oak frame will have soon have climbing plants growing up and over it to provide shelter in a sunny corner of the garden.

Some pergolas can be as simple as this. The footing of the posts uses stainless steel plates to keep the timber dry and enhance and preserve the structure, giving a framework for climbing plants for years to come.
